Yeah, that's me, posing nicely for the camera. I'm Siv and I'm a graphic designer based in London.
I have been working as a designer for about three years here, where I have designed and art directed a monthly consumer magazine as well as working on a couple of free lifestyle magazines. I am now available for freelance work for print and web so please send me an email to discuss your ideas or design needs.
Prints of my photos are also available for purchase.
I'm a detail focused perfectionist and a dreamer/thinker. I love to discuss ideas and to discover new ones by coincidence and happy accidents. I believe in finding a concept first as a foundation for the visual. I love organising information, designing with grids and learning new software and skills. I attend a web design course in the evenings to gain some much-wanted web design knowledge.
After my digital camera was stolen in 2007 I discovered analogue photography and have been obsessed ever since with films, toy cameras and old manual cameras, or any camera that would produce some interesting results. I also use digital cameras, when the situation demands it.
Before moving to London I lived in Brighton where I got my graphics degree. I was born and raised in Norway where I studied sports, then arts, before I started feeling adventurous and left for England in 2002.
When I'm not sitting in front of my computer or taking pictures, I train taekwondo at my local taekwondo club. I also love going for a beer in the pub or in the park and meet new people from all over the world. I find London is a great place for this reason.
Thanks for your time, now feel free to ask me anything.
